  1. Admission is cheaper-$9 for adults and $5 for ages 5-11.  Admission is $3 off the adult admission if you bring in 3 canned food items so clean out your cabinets and save a little money in the process.

  2. The lines will be a bit shorter since everyone who is hard core about the fair are going to be burnt out by the last day. Most of the campers are also on their way back home so there’s less people overall on the grounds.

  3. It’s STEM day. This is a great opportunity for you and for any children in your life to learn more about the STEM field and all of the different opportunities it holds for those who are interested in pursuing it.  There will be hands on activities so everyone can really get in there and have a tangible experience with it.

  4. If you’re wanting to splurge on a more well known musical group than the groups playing the free stages, Hootie and the Blowfish will be the main stage show at 8 p.m. with Bare Naked Ladies as their opening act. Tickets start at $65 and you will have to buy admission tickets to see the concert.

  5. Fitness on the Hill will be offered at 9:30am for those wanting to get in some Yoga to be proactive about the calories they’ll be consuming after their workout session and to go into your busy fair day with some momentary zen.

  6. Avenue of Motorcycles gives you an up close view of motorcycles that range in style and age. Everything from a basic motorcycle to bikes that rival tricked out cars.

  7. The Grandfather’s Barn will be offering multiple grape stomp events if you ever had the urge to try out what the feeling of hundreds of grapes under your feet feels like.

  8. The Red Trouser Show at noon will feature acrobatics and comedy at the Expo Hill.  This group has traveled the country performing shows at festivals and fairs and everyone who sees them loves their show. It’s family friendly and they are experts on putting on an entertaining show.

  9. This is your last chance to try the new fair foods this year or to partake in an unhealthy amount of fried food/food on sticks.

  10. You’ll have to wait a full year for the fair to return so you might as well get in one last day of it. You’ll get 365 days to recover from everything you ate and all of the walking you’ll do there.
